One thing I will state, and this is me speculating now, is that the second season won’t be coming out for a while.
My best guess for when Season 2 might land on Netflix would be mid-to-late-2022.
It all depends on when the show goes into production.
That’s going to be a difficult thing to predict given the current pandemic that we are still in at the moment.
The vaccine rollout is going pretty well in the United States and the United Kingdom.

However, much of Shadow And Bone Season 1 was filmed in a lovely castle in Hungary.
They actually filmed in the Festetics Palace, an 18th-century castle that’s now home to a museum.
It might be tricky to find locations that can safely film in for Season 2 given the current pandemic.
However, given how they managed to get the first season shot basically during a global pandemic, I’m pretty sure the people behind the show will find a way to get Season 2 of Shadow And Bone done.
Incidentally, we will be interviewing the director of the two final episodes of Season 1 of Shadow And Bone, Jeremy Webb, later this week.
The interview will be released on our YouTube channel towards the end of the week.
Make sure to keep an eye out for that one.
