Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ has been in production for a long time now. The filming was halted several times due to the pandemic and reports suggest that the team will soon start shooting the final schedule in Hungary. According to reports by TOI, once the cast crew is completely vaccinated, they will head to Hungary around August and continue the filming.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra’ is a highly ambitious big budget film with sci-fi elements. Starring an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy, the film is being developed on a massive scale with expenses surpassing the budget. It is also rumored that Shahrukh Khan will have a cameo appearance in it.
This is the first film where real life couple Ranbir and Alia will share screen. Apart from this, they’ll also appear in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ respectively.
