Passengers formed long lines at Southwest Airline kiosks in Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport, as Southwest canceled 20 flights out of the airport on Monday, October 11, according to FlightRadar.
The airline apologized for canceling nearly 1,900 flights across the country over the weekend in a memo to their employees, according to a report by USA Today.
“Air traffic control issues and disruptive weather have resulted in a high volume of cancellations throughout the weekend while we work to recover our operation,” Southwest Airlines said on Saturday.
