Filming

Best movies, TV series, Originals and documentaries to stream this month

Another month brings another batch of shows to Netflix, including the now obligatory true crime docuseries. May’s offering is The Sons of Sam: A Descent into Darkness, which follows journalist Maury Terry’s theory that the infamous 70s killings were linked to a satanic cult.

As for movies, the big attraction is Amy Adams latest role as Dr Anna Fox in thriller The Woman in the Window. There’s also the highly anticipated zombie apocalypse flick from director Zack Snyder, Army of the Dead.

More series of nautical reality series Below Deck are on the way too, as are extra episodes of the brilliantly dark animation Love, Death & Robots.

I’m most excited for Halston, the Ryan Murphy-produced biopic series depicting the life of legendary American fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick, played by Ewan McGregor.
