The WINA 2021 global festival for independent agencies and multinational networks announced winners to its competition.
More than 300 independent agencies and multinational networks from 35 countries made the shortlist for the virtual awards show, with note-worthy submissions from countries such as Chile, Spain, Belgium, Brazil, United States, Costa Rica, France, Italy, Ecuador, Romania and Puerto Rico. There was also prominent participation from: Bolivia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Mexico, Germany, United Kingdom, Honduras, Portugal, Greece, Canada, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Colombia, Australia, Peru, Thailand, the Dominican Republic and Taiwan.
In Romania, Chile and Brazil, Samsung was declared the advertiser of the year. Among the advertisers recognized were Etihad, Bankia, ElPozo, Pringles, Motorola-Lenovo, Uber, Unicef, HP and AB Inbev.
Claudio Lima was named the creative director of 2021, with the creative agency of the year being: Cheil Brasil. Felipe Ortiz (Cheil Chile) and Noel Lang Agulló (Getting Better), ranked in second and third place as the creatives of the year.
